I need to update my copilot software but it now runs under windows 5
and 6. Does anyone know if the 168 will support this. Mio australia
is a waste of time as they never answer their phones or email
thanks in advance
I assume you are thinking of updating your PDA to run on Windows Mobile 5 or
6?
Normally you have to update the flash RAM in the PDA to do this, and so you
can't just get an update from Microsoft. The PDA manufacturer has to supply
the updated software for it to work. (So my Dell is stuck at WM5 since Dell
never issued an updatwe to WM6 when they pulled out of the PDA market.) You
may be able to download the software from Mio's head office, or buy a copy
over eBay if your local agents can't help.
