I've just bought a version of tomtom one europe off ebay and it
wasn't
what I was expecting. I had a tomtom one v3 for just the UK and I
wanted to buy the european model and I assumed it would be exactly
the
same but with a bigger memory to hold all the european maps.

However:

a) It has the european maps on a card slot which is removeable
b) It has bluetooth
c) The version of tomtom home that loads is 1.6 - when I upgraded it
there were connection problems.

which version do I have and how does it compare to the tomtom one v3
that I was expecting? (positives bluetooth, but negatives??)

Would appreciate any help.

or a photo from google images?

a) It has the european maps on a card slot which is removeable
could be an early tomtom 300 / 500 ?

or it could be the wifes tomtom one version 2?

cheers

When I linked it up with the pc the little icon in the bottom right of
my pc said found new hardware "tomtom (v3)". But the slot memory and
the bluetooth suggest something else.

Give us the link to the auction and we can see for ourselves, then advise
you accordingly.

I have a Tomtom One V2. It'll work on Home V2 but you need to download
it from Tomtom.

IMO, it's better than the V3 from the fact of having the SD card slot.
Using it, you'll notice no difference.
