Hi
When I got my 730 I immediately set of to collect a friend at a
Wilsons of Rathkenny a garage at a crossroads near Ballymena and
about 40 miles from home.
It seemed to have the garage in memory but took me to crossroads about
8 miles away from it.
I'm not sure what I did as I was late and in a bit of a panic and
very unfamiliar with the TT but now when I tap, "Navigate to a POI. "
The next screen gives the following 5 alternatives.
Near you, In city, Near home,Along route, and Wilsons of Rathkenny
sstn
I can't find any way of deleting it.
Unfortunately I didn't do a backup until I got home so that isn't an
option
"Delete a POI" and "Delete a POI category" are both greyed out.
Any help would be appreciated as I've tried for hours and this is
driving me crazy.

Thanks
Ronnie

Hi Ronnie

Are you saying you want to delete the POI for the garage?

Do you want to delete the POI thats in the main category ( Car garages ) or
on the screen "Navigate To?"
If its the POI on the Navigate To screen, then this is just a recent one,
once you select somewhere else it should vanish.

Hi Alex,

Thanks for the information. It worked as you said. Makes me feel
pretty stupid :-)
Is it possible to alter the position of that garage or is it just a
matter of submitting an error to TT share?
Thanks again,

Ronnie

Thanks Alex,

Its good to know that someone will come to the rescue when you are
having problems.
It lets the technologically unsophisticated get into things like GPS
without too much worry.
