track logger

I'm confused looking at all the options, I use a Garmin 76csx for leisure
pursuits but I want a simple, small logger that I can carry all day without
worrying about it. This is so I can geotag pictures.

I'd prefer something with rechargeable battery and the ability to download a
point every second to a big sd card, like the garmin which takes days worth
of tracks.

Is anything better than the sirf 3 chipset available now?

Bluetoot would be nice but not if it cannot be switched off and drains the
battery.

Anything sub 100quid?

I've been testing the unit and evaluating it and I would suggest that
it be set to no less than every 2 seconds, which still is limited to
about 10 hours per the unit's software. Go up to every 10 seconds and
it jumps up to 20 hours before needing to be recharged via the USB
port of some device that will charge its battery.

For geotagging photos, however, I would suggest that once per 15, 30
or 60 seconds likely will work just fine, since you likely will have
'stopped' to take the photo.
