If you were Registered and logged in, you could reply and use other advanced thread options
I keep asking but no-one seems to know the answer. How do you change
the default for the night map colour? Every time I change it to UK
then next time I use night colour it returns to Africa. Any ideas?

Are you saying you select your theme, then on returning to the button its
not saved your selection?
Is your mapsetting.cfg file / settings.dat file read only?

If you mean MapSettings.cfg no it is not read only. And yes, that is
what I am saying. It is not saved. Does it need to be saved into
HOME (on the computer) or just into the tomtom?
