Hi

For some reason I have stopped getting warnings of tomtoms speed cameras on
my tomtom 720. It used to beep several times upon aproaching a speed
camera, now, it on;y flashes on the screen.

Anyone any ideas?

Are you using Tomtom's own speed cameras, or the proper ones from
PocketGPSWorld?

Tomtoms own. I did consider the PocketGPSWorld ones but so far the tomtom
ones have been very accurate.

If you have the recent software update you have many sounds to select
from, make sure you have a sound selected. Also sometimes the sounds
directory can get corrupted, then you have to delete the whole directory
and re-install the sounds. That needs a bit of know-how

Just had a poke around in mine and find that the sounds selection is in
TT Home with the gadget connected, not in the device itself
