Tomtom 720 Lane gudance

I've just bought a new TT720, and was playing round with preferences and
selected "show lane images"
I got a message saying the map version is not compatable with lane guidance
and referred me to their website
I couldn't find anythingabout it, except that it is available on the TT730
(and others)

So, my question is:- will it be available sometime for the 720, and will it
be free?

I have the 30 day free update from 5th July. Is it likely to be available
soon?

I have a 720 that I bought last year. When I updated the firmware last
week, and installed the new western European map that I bought, I had
the 'show lane images' option which doesn't work as you described. My
guess is that it does work on the 730/930 and should be switched off
on the 720 but TT overlooked it.
