... that although we've only had TomTom One Europe less than 3 months
- we're going to have to pay £75! to get the 6.75 update - what a
rip-off?!
If the software needs updating, isn't it their fault for not getting
it right in the first place - and now expect Joe Public to pay again
for their mistakes? Come on TomTom - or should that be ConCon :0}
Even Microsoft don't charge for their constant updates - luckily!
Even if you pay for the update it will still not be up to date as new roads
and changes will have occurred since they gathered the information.
Everyone works with out of date data!

All my updates from TT have been free, just like Windows have been.
Update to maps are chargeable, just like many programmes I have installed on
my PC.

How did you get your old maps to run on this free software? The
software isn't free if the only way you can use it is to buy new maps.

Mine is an orginal TT Go, it is registered with TT on thier website and they

gave me the TT Home programme. When connected it checks for updates and
downloads when I say yes. Had many over the years.
Each month they send a newsletter in one each year there as been a map
update offer. The first I did not buy, last years I did this years have not
done yet, but will be buying.
Ok I not like paying, but nothing in life is really free, but not
complaining about TT.
