Although I've been happily added missing one-way streets to my TomTom
maps, I haven't been able to do so with roundabouts.

I've gone through the process on screen, finally ending up on "Done" as
usual, and all seems fine. I even dock the TomTom on my PC and it says
it's uploading my corrections ; yet when I look at the map the
roundabout clearly hasn't been added.

Any ideas?

Thanks
David

I found the same when I amended a stretch of the A1 next to the Metro Centre
which was showing as 30mph. Also, as well as me updating it, surely other
users have done so too??!!

Is it not the case that if you 'Report other error' this needs to be
completed by tomtom but the specific errors shown on the screen you
can do yourself? Just a thought.

Well, the procedure was identical to reporting a one-way street (apart
from touching an "add roundabout" button", and it appeared to process
oin just the same way - but anyway, surely even if I were to deselect
the 'share corrections' option, I'd still expect to see the correction
on my own kit, wouldn't I?

Anybody out there had this working?

Have been on to TomTom about this.

Apparently using MapShare you can "correct" some errors like one-way
streets, and the change will appear on your own TomTom regardless of
whether you report it or not; or you can use it to "report" other errors
like roundabouts, which *won't* appear on your own TomTom. There's no
difference in the correction procedure for either; it doesn't say
whether the change is actually going to be implemented on your own
device or not.

FWIW the two roundabouts I've tried to add are local to me, and have
certainly been there for longer than I've lived round here - 11 or 12 years.

So glad I just paid for a map upgrade for my brand-new TomTom to obtain
Mapshare. What a load of rubbish.
