Does anyone know if you can pair any blutoof headset with them, or are you
stuck with using the humongous Cardo Scala Rider thing that comes with it ?

It is possible to use other devices as I've successfully paired a BT
hands free car-kit to one. However others have had issues so it seems
that it's not a universal thing.

The Scala is an excellent bit of kit but perhaps OTT if you don't
intend using the hands free phone functiuonality?

Home now.

Pairs fine with my ol' reliable HDW-2.

I want some thing a bit less obtrusive, and something that I don't have to
cut my Shoei lid's lining to fit.

I think if I get another HDW-2 then I can dissassemble it to make something
a little neater, and integrated into the lid.
