From their website..

Detailed map of Spain, Portugal and Andorra. Includes Gibraltar and the
Balearic Islands (Majorca, Minorca, Ibiza and Formentera). Street
network coverage: ES: 99%, PO: 84%, AD: 99%

Indeed, however, were you to travel roughly 1700km to the west of the
Balearics (and down a bit). You might come across the small Portugese
island of Madeira, which is not included in TT Navigator map of
Western Europe v675.1409.

What I'm going to say might be a red herring.
When I go to the library the Canary Islands books are not under Spain or
Europe but on the Africa shelf.
Could Madeira ( Portugal) be considered as Africa too and appear on Africa
TomTom maps if there are such?

I don't think TomTom do Africa maps ...

The Canary Islands are included in Western Europe (but as a separate map,
you have to go into the preferences menu on a Go 720 and "switch maps" to
get them). They do not, however, include Madeira (unsurprising, as it isn't
a Canary Island).

So, yes, good thought, but red herring nonetheless.

Cheers,
Daniel.
