I can get a 720 for about £180 while its 730 replacement is about £260.

As far as I can find out the £80 will give me IQ routes and Advanced
Lane Guidance. The hardware seems to be identical.

Are they worth the extra money?

IQ Routes in particular sounds too good to be true.

Thanks for any guidance.

My 720 doesn't have advance lane guidance. The latest firmware update
knows about it but the machine can't do it.

Maybe TomTom is deliberately limiting it as hey did when they disabled
Itineraries on the ONE v3.

I understand you need to install the V8 maps.
