Hi,
advice appreciated. newbie question
Tempted by the Snooper Syrius S2000 proline Euro particularly for the
speed limit identifier as have recently been caught = SP30 Though I
was in a 40 zone :(
Any suggested alternatives
Thanks
RDD
I'm assuming you *thought* you were in a 40MPH zone rathern than
"though", as you'd be able to get off easily if you were in a 40 ;-)
The tomtom units have road speed data but it's hopelessly inaccurate
so if any units rely on the same maps then you're probably best off
sticking to trying to spot signs. I think the tomtom speed data comes
from the mapset and not some tomtom-specific dataset.

It was my lack of attention to such detail that caused the SP-30 as well ;)

You might get lucky - does your local constabulary offer speed awareness
courses? If so go for it. You still pay the 60.00 fine but you don't get any
points on your licence.
