Hi folks:
is it possible to change the mapping system on this "BRICK" NV-U73T.
The present maps are way out of date and i thought if i could put TomTom
stuff or some other it would be worth the effort, otherwise its for the
"crusher".

Thanks in advance for any help that you can give.

A Sony NVU73T 4.3'' Widescreen Portable GPS Navigator
is I presume what you are talking about.

If you cannot get updated maps for it then why not try TomTom software?
you've nothing to loose have you. The software is free as far as I
understand, it's the maps you pay for

Tomtom is not free. You cannot get it without the maps.
