I've been using a Garmin for quite a few years but I like the idea of
the on-screen OS map. Has anyone used either of these, or even if not,
does anyone have any opinions for or against?
Cheers!

Bye,
Mark.
I reviewed the Active 10 recently. It's not really comparable with the
RA Navigator which is much less robust.

I bought a Road Angel Navigator off Ebay for total £122 and used my own
Memory Map software and maps - a lot cheaper than the Satmap unit. Not so
easy to hold perhaps as the Satmap but thats going to cost you a lot more by
the time you have bought all the maps too. I nededed the external lion
battery from portable power supplies about £20 odd quid but that powers all
sorts of other things too
