Hi,
It seems like the battery on my V2 has gone dead; bought a replacement
battery off ebay - but I'm unable to get the cover off the back of the unit,
as it appears I do not have the right screwdriver to do the job. Would
anyone happen to know the right spec for the screwdrivers required to get
the job done and where I could get one, cheap.
Thanks
Did you try asking the seller? They often seem to sell the right
screwdrivers too or can at least offer some advice on how to do it.
Failing that you could see if anyone else is selling the batteries and
ask them. I often see screwdrivers on fleabay flagged up as being the
ones you need for this unit or that unit so worth checking there too.

Small Torx I suspect, go down to Maplins with the unit and purchase the
right one for a small amount or use an Allen key that will fit the heads

Never tried the One but the other TomToms use female Torqx type screw heads.
You can buy such things in any tool store, most DIY stores and Halfords. They
do not, usually, come as screw drivers but in the same form as allan keys.
