Some things to try:
1 Overall reset with a paperclip up its bum.
2 Remove and replace the SD Card (if fitted).
3 ensure TT is ON before connecting to PC
4 If you were using the front USB skts, try the rear ones.
5 Go into control panel > User Accounts > Turn User Account Control On or Off >
then UNTICK the box and restart your PC

As soon as my pc restarted, i went into "My Computer" and there it was.. my
tomtom!!
I had a similar problem. I would connect my TomTom to the computer, turn it on,
and there would be no "Do You Want to Connect..." message. I get around this by
turning the TomTom on before placing it in the docking station - now I get the
message and it connects OK.
