I bought a new PDA-phone with TomTom 6 already loaded, but with no
maps. However, I have a SD card from another mobile phone with the
maps on. When I started TomTom for the first time, and selected the GB
map, it asks me to enter a product code. Anyone tell me where to find
the product code? Sorry if daft a question - I am totally new to
TomTom.

AFAIK the product code comes on a card *with* the maps and the original
software.

Looks like you'll have to actually *Buy* some maps unless your pirated
version(s) can be activated.

The Product Code come from TomTom with each map so ask the person who gave
or sold you those bootleg maps on the SD card.

Thanks. Is it just the maps that require a product code? Does the main
TomTom program require one too, when you load it onto a device?
