Hi
Just bought our first sat nav, a tomtom go 720. Which is the most accurate
speed camera database, the tomtom versions or the ones downloaded from
www.pocketgpsworld.com?

Thanks

I would imagine that the PGW POIs would be more accurate, since they
have an active and probably more technically literate (= >accurate?)
user base, support forum and probably responsive maintainers.

I have my TomTom 520 set to verbally announce a couple of POIs with
words that I have specified - I don't have mine set up with Tomtom's
cameras, so I don't know if it's possible with those.

Go for the TomTom version, the PGW one has far too many false cameras in it.

It certainly has a few too many people hanging around in newsgroups
specifically for the purpose of slagging it off just because their
nose got put out of joint about 12,000 years ago.

Or maybe just some people that want a reliable database, and not one
full of fake camera locations.
