Has anyone any experience of the 7-digit postcode software patch for the
Navman iCN 510/520? It's currently being sold on Ebay.

It is not a software patch. It is a POI overlay. I have no experience of
these specifically, but I seem to recall discussions that they can be
downloaded for free from various places (equally (il?)legally I
suspect). They take up some 60mb of card space for the full set, and
IIRC are also reported to be fairly slow to search as there are so many,
but otherwise function very well. You can also get hold of the tomtom
ov2 postcode overlays and convert them with the same effect.
