My Mio 168 has secomb to the famous data socket mechanical failure, if
i can just get the in car charger to connect to the correct battery
terminals inside the pda i can be back up and running.
I was thinking of customising the headphone jack to use as the
charging socket, which two coloured wires on the battery do i need to
piggyback onto, Im assuming the in car charger adapter drops the
voltage to 5v
any help would be welcome
If you do a search in this group there was another chap who replaced
the socket with a two pole plug for the purposes of charging, was just
before Xmas IIRC.
