I see the latest so-called 'updated' UK & Ireland map has been
published. I see the same errors that I have been reporting for over
two years are still present, with a number of streets wrongly named.

These are street names that have been in existence since I believe the
1920s. They are not just spelling mistakes or minor irregularities,
but names that are just totally incorrect. I have pointed this out at
least four times. As Tomtom has now purchased TeleAtlas they cannot
continue to blame it on third parties.

Tomtom tell me that issues with small numbers of reports attract lower
priority and it can take up to two years to update a map. Why then
have these changes been removed from the Map Corrections when they
have not been fed into the main map?

Are Tomtom just incompetent? Are the others (eg, Garmin) any better?

If you ever get chance, cross ref your noted errors with a copy of map
v6.75.1322 by NAVTEQ, chances are they wont be in that one.
