Anyone recommend a good holder for my Garmin 60CSx when out walking?
..from other advise seems it would be best located on strap of daysack.
Thanks. John

I usually choose to pay one of our Eastern European cousins to hold
mine for me.

Hanging it from a strap on top of the backpack would be fine. You could
also have it inside the backpack as the topmost item and get good
accuracy. Makes it a bit harder to look at the screen, though.
What is best for you depends on how you're using the GPS and what your
backpack looks like, I guess. I don't like having too many things
hanging on the outside of mine because they tend to bump into each other
or the backpack, making irritating noises every step I take. I guess
velcro could fix the noise thing but have not tried it.

Like to view it quite regularly hence needs to be handy...thinking along the
lines of fixing to strap at the front say chest or shoulder level somehow.

I hang my Garmin (etrex vista hcx) around my neck by it's strap while
walking - no problems.
