I'd be grateful for any information about such an accessory- availability,
rough price, supplier etc.and how fitted to receiver.
Many thanks,
Tony

013-00202-00. Consists of a 4.5x4.5x1.5cm block, that has a built in
magnet for attachment purposes approx 1.5 m of thin co-axial cable that
plugs into the aerial socket on the GPS. This is located on the top rear
of the device under the top waterproof rubber plug. But why do you need
one? The reception on mine is excellent even indoors?

alt.satellite.gps.garmin there are people there who are very helpful.
You will get information on functions of the 60Cx that you did not even
know existed, well I did, and still do from time to time.
Many thanks, Broadback.
I was wondering whether an aerial might improve reception in wooded areas.
I do know of alt.s.g.g and will look there.
