I have noticed when I set the day settings to 'Britannica' and then
the night settings to 'Britannica' tomtom remembers the day preference
but forgets the night settings preference. I have installed the
latest application software and the problem won't go away. Any ideas
how to resolve this?
Thanks
Scott

can set it not to switch over automatically[1]. In which case it doesn't
matter what the night preference is.
[1] Which I do, because the TomTom does a piss-poor job of deciding when
to switch over. I prefer to do the day/night switching manually.

I assumed, maybe wrongly, that Scott was setting the night settings to
'Britannica' and then manually switching between Day and Night, which I do.
Like Scoot I find it has lost 'Britannica' as my night setting.
I did not know TomTom could differentiate between night & day by the time
and automatically switch over. Anyway, I have the same problem.
SCOTT - try posting the query on alt.satellite.gps.tomtom to get specific
responses from TomTom users.,

You could be right. I didn't know that one scheme could cover both day
and night settings. I've created separate schemes for day and night,
being unaware that it was possible to create one scheme for both.
Perhaps it varies by TomTom model.

Mine is a tomtom ONE (original). I did not create these schemes. They
are default options in the preferences. I would be very surprised if
this varied in later models. Have you looked through all the
preferences?
