Can anyone recommend any good sites where you can download GPX files of
walks that can be loaded into mobile GPS (I have Road Angel Adventurer using
Memory Map)?

I am particularly wanting walks in the Lake District and Yorkshire, though
anywhere is of interest and also cycle routes as well as walks.

Thanks

Have you tried just typing 'GPX walks lake district' into Google?
That seemed to come up with a lot of potentially useful sites, eg the first
on in the list:

HTH!

http://www.everytrail.com/ is a good website for sharing routes. Zoom
into the UK using their 'World Map' section, there seem to be quite a
few in the areas you want.
