Hi group,
Posted earlier on regarding the road com rc400. Have used it for a
couple of days and find the postcode search way off when the address
is out in the sticks. Had a go with a tom tom and found this on the
button all the time, as my job involves up to 15 calls per day I find
the postcode search pretty bad on the rc400.
I did get it for nothing from the father in law as he now has built in
sat nav so cant really complain, is there any way to upgrade or
improve the postcode part of the software.
I have done a bit of diggin and the unit seems to be a rebadged
cartech 400, maps are naveteq and runs on win ce .
Any help would be gratefull.
Thanks

are like POI co-ordinates and then the final step is to display the road
name.

even though the postcode file hadn't changed
