Tried updating my TT One 125 before leaving on vacation last week and now it
takes for ever to find its position after turning on. Prior to the update
it never required over 30 seconds. Now it takes 5 to 10 minutes and
sometimes more. Anyone else see this problem?
It also seems the map update provided little benefit for my $50 ($17 for
updated map +$33 for a year's worth of updates). Very few of the roads
(almost exclusively interstates) between Chicago, IL and Raleigh, NC that
had changed over the past couple of years had been updated. Found quite a
few locations where position displayed didn't show any roads even though I
was on an interstate. Is this typical for all GPS devices or just because
this is a less expensive version. This is first GPS I've had and have had
it since Christmas.
