How to find features?

Is there any place to find what features a particular TomTom has? For
example I can't tell which units support itineraries.

There once was a time when every TomTom could do everything its hardware
allowed. But then the marketers took control and whimsically started to
remove software features from particular units to create more price points,
but they didn't make a place that lays out a matrix of all the differences.

Before I bought mine I downloaded the instruction book from their website,
for the model I was interested in. I went through it carefully noting if
it had the features I wanted and how easy it was to use those features. I
did the same thing when I was looking for a new mobile 'phone, downloading
the instructions for several different makes/models before deciding which
to buy.
