With the costs of New GPS's so low, why doesn't Tom-tom offer map
upgrades at a reasonable price. Why spend 60 plus dollars for a map
upgrade when new units, with more features are only a few bucks more??

upgrade their unit

Now that TomTom owns Tele Atlas, their marginal cost for sending an extra
copy of a map that is delivered by download is essentially zero.
