garmin 60c in demo mode...

I had download map in demo mode.
(MapCSource without reg. code)
How can I set my GPSMAP 60C back in back in normal mode?

What is hard reset key combination?

On the 60c just turn the unit off and on again will do it I think. Or go
menu, menu, setup, system, and select the appropriate mode (normal) from
the 'gps' dropdown options.


Power on with page + Enter held down iirc. Or maybe it's page + quit.
But you really really don't want to do that, given the amount of stuff
you'll lose.

Just a guess since I have no way to get into that condition, and I'm
just assuming your 60C works like my 76CSx, but try going to the "Map
receiver and make sure the basemap is enabled.

I did it once too, and you have to remove the DEMO "unlock code" out of the
unit; I don't remeber by heart how to do it, I think you have to use
"unlockwizard"
