Anyone knows some free software for gps navigation system? My friend
told me tomtom, wayfinder and nav4all are all great, I never use any of
them before, nav4all is free but is it good quality?
shall be better placed to recommend something that meets them.
If you want to make maps for Garmin GPS units, then I can offer my own
MapMan product. The basic feature set is free. You can download it from

Looks good. I an going to try and use your software plus cGPSMapper to scan
some old topo maps thatryou can't get in digitial format and load portion to
my Etrex Vista.
I hope I can do this.
Garmin's products just don't provide what is neded for backpacking in
Australia.

I'm using Nav4all for 1 month now, it really works very well. It's free
till August and after August it will cost 1 or 2 euros a month. I have
ordered a bluetooth gps receiver for only 69,50euro.
Nav4all works on a lot cell phones and there are maps available for
almost all countries in the world.
