Does any portable GPS work using my phone USB charger in my automobile?

If it is +5v, which it should be, then almost any of them with a USB
connection should work. A Garmin 60CSX certainly will (although it will
also work off 12v, given a proper Garmin auto lead). Note =work=, it
won't recharge its AA batteries off USB power.

The TomTom One (version 2 only!) both runs off a standard mini-USB
connection, and recharges the internal lithium battery using that
same jack.
