Which GPS do i need? help

Hello there

I need help deciding which GPS device to buy.

My first requirement is that the GPS device must have all the maps of
Europe included as that i am planning to travel soon around Europe...

i would also like if possible to get the location of the speed camera's
using the gps device.

I was going to buy Tom Tom but my friend told me that it might be
better to buy a palm and then upload all the maps ?

If that;s the case which one do you recommend ?

Also my friend said that he thinks is possible to buy the Tom Tom one
that has only the UK maps and crack it and upload all the European maps
in it ?

Which one do you recommend and why ?a palm or a tom tom.....

Please before you answer keep in mind that i would like to have on the
received all the maps of Europe.

Also it will be very helpful if you can point me to a place/web page
that i can buy cheap the product that you recommend

No need to "crack" because all the Europe maps are on a DVD you get with
your "local" Tom Tome One (France, Alps, UK, ...). It's a liitle bit more
tricky because you have ot the whole Europe on a single map (you can buy
the SD-card for 120 euros).
