At the November 9 meeting of the National Space-Based Position
Navigation and Timing (PNT) Advisory Board, Javad Ashjaee, president and
CEO of JAVAD GNSS, demonstrated his company’s newly developed filter
technology proposed to protect GPS receivers from LightSquared broadband
network interference. In this webinar, Mr. Ashjaee gives this
presentation for GPS World's web audience, and answers questions from
the magazine's survey editor, Eric Gakstatter.

Javad Ashjaee

Javad Ashjaee obtained a B.S. degree in physics; M.S. in mathematics,
and M.S. and Ph.D. in electrical engineering from the University of
Iowa. He was chairman of Computer Engineering Department,Tehran
University of Technology, 1976-1981. He began his GPS engineering career
at Trimble Navigation, 1981-1986. Founder and president of Ashtech Inc.,
1986-1995; founder and CEO of Javad Positioning Systems, 1996-2000,
which he sold to Topcon Corporation in 2000. He is currently president
and CEO of JAVAD GNSS.






Eric Gakstatter



Eric Gakstatter is GPS World's contributing editor of the twice-monthly
Survey Scene newsletter and editor of the Geospatial Solutions website
and the GSS Insider newsletter. He has spent 20 years in the GPS
survey/mapping industry as a product manager, GPS user, consultant, and
a non-partisan advocate for the GPS user community.





Alan Cameron



Alan Cameron is editor in chief of GPS World magazine, where he has
