Solar activity has suddenly increased with a series of strong
explosions from sunspot 786, including an X-category flare this
morning. Because the sunspot is near the sun's western limb, none of
the blasts was squarely Earth-directed. Nevertheless, coronal mass
ejections hurled into space by these explosions could deliver glancing
blows to Earth's magnetic field as early as tonight (July 14-15) and
continuing through the weekend, possibly sparking geomagnetic storms
and auroras. Check spaceweather.com for movies of the explosions, more
information and updates.
It seems to me that most of the people that come here are quite
knowledgeable about these
things and your posts are actually belittling and insulting the collective
intelligence. You are one
arrogant idiot.

Well, notwithstanding any truth or falsity in your statement, you're
still the one who's getting plonked here, not Sam.

Obviously there is one less knowledgeable person than you think there is.
Is ROC the same person as "Ike"? They share the same ignorance,
unwillingness to learn, and inability to appreciate the knowledge and
intelligence of others.
Now they share the same killfile.
