Can anybody recommend or comment on a good screen protector that can be used

I will be using this unit on a motorcycle

Thanks

Look for the ones used for Palm PDA's like the TX they have outlines so
you can cut them to fit any screen size

Just an FYI, some of these screen protectors have a surface roughness
to cut down on glare. This was never a big deal until the pixel pitch
on modern LCDs decreased (i.e. tighter spacing). On my PDA phone, I had
to resort to clear packing tape. The Belkin protectors had a pattern on
them that interfered with the screen.

I use clear packing tape on my emap since it seems to hold up better
than the Belkin protectors, but it is harder to place on the unit
without getting bubbles.

I still use the Belkin protectors on lower resolution devices. [Might
as well finish up the pack. ;-) ]

I had put a Palm brand protector on my new 60CSx then ripped it off as
it made the display really unclear. This thread reminded me that way
back in a drawer I have some "Scotch Book Tape"!

I just tried it out and it's much better than the Palm screen
protectors. Very clear, and thicker than packing tape so more likely to
protect well.

Part number on the box is 845, and it's often found in libraries, if
all you want is a bit of it. That's what I have here; I talked a
librarian into giving me the end of a roll, many years ago, and it's
still useable.
