FMS, Inc. used to sell a subscription for US Zip codes (because they are not
static, and sometimes change, in addition to having new codes added). I
don't know what they charged but the website is http://www.fmsinc.com . And I
never used it, so don't "endorse" it, but with their Access background,
assume it can be imported into or used by Access.
The USPS also sells a ZIP code database in electronic form, but I don't know
if it is in a file format directly usable by Access. I'm sure the USPS data
is the original source of the FMS info.
Unless your data is updated, it may not be accurate for checking mailing
addresses.
But, just as a side question, from your e-mail, looks as if you are part of
Nortel sales. If so, why would a major corporation have to beg for free or
cheap instead of paying their way for a commercial product?
