Not on subject, but I thought someone here might be able to provide a
pointer.
Google Earth has underlying topographic information that shows the
elevation of the ground under the pointer. Google Maps has a terrain
view that shows a conventional topographic map with contour lines, as
well as a separate same-scale satellite picture option.
Those come close to what I'm looking for, but is there an application,
maybe third-party, that would overlay contour lines on a Google Earth
or Google Maps satellite image?
