Navteq tells people where speed & red-light cameras are. Good idea? Bad
idea?

Great idea.
Who told the Police State they could steal our money (tax) to buy cameras to
take our photos without are permission, mail tickets to
steal more of our money?
Were you afforded the your Right of self government and allowed to vote on the
issue?
Was any citizen?
Has any citizen ever been allowed to vote on a speed limit?
Not likely.
