OT trivia: Windows NT also meant 'New Technology' on release.

Microsoft quickly learned that NT was the trademark of Nortel (Northern
Telecom) http://www.nortel.com/ , and that the company traded on the stock
exchange as NT.

That trademark caveat was noted on all subsequent packaging of Windows NT.

Thanks for the trivia. I wonder how they got through all that without
someone smelling money and getting a bunch of lawyers involved.
