I tried to search for a conversion program, including the online
gpsvisualizer and the very versatile GPSBabel, but I cannot find anything
that will convert .KMZ files.

I need this to export tracks from GE Plus to my GPS unit, as I see many dirt
roads in GE that I don't have on any other map.

Thank you for your suggestions,

Domagoj

P.S. Cutting sat. images from GE and connecting them in a drawing program
and calibrating those images in OziExplorer is out of the question as that
takes way too much time.

Well, figured it out myself :)

a .kmz file iz a zipped .kml file.

One needs to unzip the kml from kmz and then convert in gpsbabel :)

Yes, and GPS Visualizer can also read non-compressed .kml files.
