Hi All,
I have ran into a problem with Mapsource with MetroGuide USA. I have been
using MapSource version 4.xx, so, yesterday I decided to download the new
version (6.5) from garmin. Now I have no detail information for any of my
map products, which I had before. I have increased the 'Map Detail' level
to 'Highest'. and it has made no difference.
Does any one know what might be the problem?

That's weird because MetroGuide USA v4 works fine, as do all my other
maps, in MapSource 6.5.
What kind of detail do you see? (a link to a screenshot would be
helpful).

MapSource keeps all of it settings in the Windows Registry. It sounds
like one or more of them were missed or corrupted in the update
process. I could email you a .reg file with my settings to see if that
fixes the problem.
A couple of ideas:
1. Select "View" | "Show GPS Map Detail" in case you had inadvertently
turned off GPS detail.
2. Check your unlock codes are installed correctly - and even reinstall
them. Select "Utilities" | "Unlock Maps..."

If all else fails, go to http://www.gpsinformation.org/perry/ This is
an archive of all the Garmin software packages. You can try to back
track and load an earlier version of Mapsource and see if that works.
