Hi Folks

The last StreetPilot with a hard drive suffered real problems when used on a
Motorcycle, has anyone heard how Garmin have attended to this on the 2720?

The 2720 does not use a HD, I believe it is a flash card.

According to Garmin site it has a 2 gig microdrive hard disk!

Can't remember exactly where I read it. Should be someone better informed
than I am. On Gamin's web site the 2620 specifically states it has a HD, the
2720 states only an internal storage device..I could not find your reference
to a 2 Gig HD on their site for the 2720..

Where do you see that?

Everything I've seen on the 2720 implies it is flash memory. The
2720 manual describes it as "pre-programmed internal memory".
