Hmm. And that's only a shadow of the movement that must have occurred at the
epicenter of the quake. A meter of vertical movement on the island--who knows
how much over the epicenter? Multiply that by a mile or two of seawater over
an area of 4000 square km, and it's easy to see where the tsunami came from.
