Dear GNSS Colleagues,
Does anyone has some information regarding the dimensions of the latest GPS
block IIF satellites. I am looking especially for the sizes of the satellite
main body and the sizes of the solar panels. I would like to make a rough
so-called "box-wing" model of this satellite to model the solar radiation
pressure forces. Of course also the (in orbit) weight would be an
interesting value to know.
I have been "googling" for this information but so far did not find very
much. So if anyone has some reliable information I would be very interested
to get the info.
Many thanks in advance,
Tim

Try harder "Dr. Springer, GNSS Expert".

Well I have found those links as well but they do not give any information
on the size of the solar panels and in particular on the total surface area
of the solar panels. So if you can find that I would be very interested.
There is some info on the size of the body of the spacecraft (244x197x197
cm) but I have found (completely) different numbers as well. That is why I
asked for "reliable" information :)
Cheers,
Tim
Dude, you need to get out more. A bag of Doritos and a Mtn Dew don't
constitute dinner.

Block IIF-1 Body: 1.97m x 1.97m x 2.44m
I would estimate that the area of the solar panels is 16 m^2
