Dear all,
During the Patrouille des Glaciers, 20 teams will be followed live with
real time data analysis. GPS-GSM receivers will be distributed between
the teams of the different categories including the Top-10 participants
as well as VIP guests starting from Zermatt and Arolla.
How ?
Every 5 minutes the 3D GPS position of each team will be sent to the
map server. This server will have the task to superposed the
geographical information on top of the Swiss map as well as to compute
the necessary statistical information. It will be possible not only to
know the position of all teams at a precise given time, but also to
follow the evolution of the classification in real-time, thanks to the
known starting time of each team.
