FYI: GPS Enabled Cell Phones & Real-Time Traffic Study

There was a short (1 min 40 sec) audio news story on National Public
Radio's "Morning Addition" program on Monday, 02/11/08 about a
University of California/Berkeley & Nokia study using GPS enabled cell
phones to provide real-time traffic information (without user input).

A new study is aimed at using cell phones to acquire better data on
traffic patterns. The hope is that handheld devices can become an
