**** ERUPTIVE SUNSPOT GROUP PRODUCES SIGNIFICANT SOLAR ACTIVITY ****

NOAA Region 786 has produced a series of eruptions over the past week.
This region continues to produce radio blackouts at the minor (R1) to
moderate (R2) levels. Associated minor (G1) and moderate (G2)
geomagnetic storms have also been observed as a result of this
activity. A solar radiation storm is also possible.

The active region is currently approaching the northwest limb and
further eruptions are possible before it rotates away from Earth on 14
July. Agencies impacted by solar flare radio blackouts, geomagnetic
storms, and solar radiation storms should continue to closely monitor
the space environment for the next 48 hours.

Data used to provide space weather services are contributed by NOAA,
USAF, NASA, NSF, USGS, the International Space Environment Services
and other observatories, universities, and institutions. More
