OK, so maybe you do recognize this simple but important fact, but in
the past it has not been clear to me that you actually believed this.
So, in your view, just what significance DOES this have? Taken as a
stand-alone observation, what does this imply for you? It must mean
SOMETHING, right?

Of all the insights which are blocked because of the dominance of the
crude 'sidereal time' reasoning,the modification for the explanation
of the seasons has to be the one which draws most attention.The
single daylight darkness at the polar coordinate where 6 months of
darkness is followed by 6 months of daylight with a brief polar
twilight at the orbital point of the equinoxes denoting a cycle as the
polar coordinate passes through the circle of illumination at the
equinoxes suffers the great loss due to proponents of that dumb
conclusion which equates circumpolar motion directly with daily
rotation.

If Sam takes his students to a large field where he lives in Iowa
with a broom ,places an object at the center of the field and tells
them to walk around the perimeter of the field while keeping the broom
handle pointed in the same direction at all times,those students will
very quickly perceive that their motion as they move around the
perimeter,equating with the Earth's motion along its orbital
circumference,is accomplished in a very specific way.The orbital
specific,when allied with daily rotation explains the seasons and why
natural noon cycles vary as the single orbital daylight/darkness cycle
combines with the daily rotational daylight/darkness cycle,the former
cycle changes unevenly to the central Sun while the daily cycle is
constant.Short circuiting this insight by a crude circumpolar
conclusion which contains no cause and effect is remarkable for its
vapidity.

However you may think of yourselves,not being capable of stating the
basic planetary dimensions and rotational characteristics makes you
no better or worse than the 'man/coal' guy as the silly conclusion
Flamsteed jumped to would normally reflect how good the equal day/
calendar system is,no more or no less.Take out your calculator with a
world globe beside you and you will discover that each degree of
geographical separation correlations with 4 minutes of clock
time,rotation of 1037.5 miles per hour and the rotation of a full
24,901 mile equatorial circumference in 24 hours.Until then,you can
gauge your intellectual level by the 'man/coal/ guy ,somewhere between
a flat Earther and intellectual oblivion.

the tilt of the earth's axis of rotation relative to its' orbit around
the Sun, is responsible for the change of Seasons in the Northern and
Southern hemispheres. Because it takes 1 year for the earth to orbit
the Sun one time, the calendar is assembled to reflect this.

The length of 1 year varies by some small amount of time, which is
adjusted for during Leap Years.

the polar coordinate pass from 6 months of daylight through the circle
of illumination into 6 months of darkness.It takes the specifics of
orbital motion to determine why the seasons change.The fact is that it
is actually possible to observe this happening as the distance from
our orbit to Uranus and Uranus to the central Sun makes it possible to
view that slow orbital turning to the central Sun which brings the
polar coordinate through the circle of illumination -

Of course,when you deal with people who are standing on a visible
Earth with an equatorial circumference of 24,901 miles and an
equatorial rotational speed of 1037.5 miles per hour and can't affirm
these basic planetary facts,something as fascinating as the specific
way the Earth orbits the Sun in causing the seasons and variations in
the natural noon cycle will be beyond them.

I do not mind the dominance of people stuck in the 'no center/no
circumference' reasoning of 'sidereal time' but I am surprised that
there is no sign of people who can actually handle the links between
planetary dynamics and terrestrial effects.Anyone scientist at the
North and South pole will affirm that the transition to polar daylight
to darkness represents a cycle with a stretched out twilight and as a
cycle,it takes one to cause it,in this case the slow turning of the
planet as it moves along its orbital circumference .
